There are guest speakers from QPS including Dr. DeCristofaro and others. They address the current issues going on in the school system.  Citywide is open to all and it is usually a lively discussion. There is a website off the QPS website if you want more specifics.

·         The new board was introduced and stated that they would continue to set goals and maintain standards across the city.  Quincy local school districts were ranked 108 out of 135.   The rank was based on the following:  test scores, per pupil spending, student teacher ratio, number or advanced placement classes, graduation rate, percent of students who continue education (college), as well as, number of sports teams and clubs.  The next meeting will be held on October 17th at Broad Meadows Middle School.
